Things to Know Before You Go

Here are some things we think you’d like to know before you go!

Proximity to Beach

Unit 364 is located in building 400 on the 6th floor.  The beach is literally a 1-2 minute walk from the building. With the beach accessible to only residents and guests, it is never over-crowded even during peak seasons.  You will be surprised how clear the water is!  While beautiful and suitable for swimming, the beaches do have several areas with large rocks so be sure to check out the shoreline during low tide to identify the sandy bottom, rock-free areas of the beach, especially if you plan to spend time on a boogie board!

Security

Cinnamon Beach is a privately-gated neighborhood within the exclusive community of Ocean Hammock and security is outstanding. To enter the community from I-95 you will need to pay a $2 toll.  This toll bridge does not accept the Sun Pass or Peach Pass.  Once over the bridge, you the entrance road to the neighborhood is double-gated and has a 24-hr security guard on duty.

Community Amenities

The community offers 2 heated pools, the “quiet pool” and the “family pool.”  Both pools are less than a 5- minute walk from the condo.  While children are allowed at the quiet pool, the noise restriction is typically honored by pool guests.  Across the street from the quiet pool, the family pool area features a large zero-entry pool, a little kids’ water park and kiddie pool.

You can try your hand at air hockey or foosball in the clubhouse game room, which is located next to the family pool, restrooms and snack bar.

There is a community gym near the pool areas

Cinnamon Beach Grille, a fast-casual restaurant / snack bar is located next to the Family Pool and Clubhouse.  It also has a full-service bar.  The food is good and convenient, but some would consider it a bit pricey.

The Ocean Hammock community is connected with miles of walking and biking trails.  Bring your bikes and lock them securely in the bike rack below the stairs, near the elevator!

Local Foodie Favorites

There are several great food options just a few minutes from the community.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Mezzaluna Pizza

We go here a lot.  It’s close, it’s good and it’s at the European Village which has a cool atmosphere like a piazza in Europe.

If you discover a great local gem, please come back to this site & leave your recommendation here for future visitors!
